Technology Overview
Ceramic membranes, owing to their high separation precision, excellent efficiency, and resistance to biofouling, have become the technology of choice for clarifying bi fermentation broths. The specially developed ceramic membranes not only remove microbial cells, suspended solids, and colloids, but also effectively eliminate dissolved proteins, macromolecules, polysaccharides, and other components, thereby enabling the separation and purification of target products from the fermentation broth. By leveraging highly precise membrane‑based separation, this approach can significantly enhance the efficiency of downstream processing steps—such as resin adsorption and nanofiltration/reverse osmosis concentration—while reducing production costs.
